Península Valdés

We begin the excursion at 8 a.m. with the pick-up for each accommodation from the city of Puerto Madryn or Trelew, in a comfortable vehicle accompanied by a professional tour guide.

After traveling about 60 km we will stop to pay the entrance fee to the area at Desempeño, the gateway to the Carlos Ameghino Isthmus.

We will visit the Visitor Center located on the Isthmus, it has rooms of history, fauna, bathrooms, confectionery and souvenir shop.

We leave for Puerto Pirámides for the whale watching on board, which lasts 1.30 hours.

After the sighting we enter the heart of the peninsula in search of native fauna such as guanacos, maras, choiques, foxes, wild cats, we will be able to see the Patagonian ranches with their Australian Merino sheep, horses and cows grazing. After 1.30 hours of travel, the Argentine sea surprises us with the blue of its waters

The peninsula is the only continental roost for the southern elephant seal and in its gulfs is home to the southern right whale from June to mid-December. It has protected areas where from its cliffs we can meet small sea lions and a diversity of birds.The estimated return time to Puerto Madryn or Trelew is 6 p.m.
